THE ALARM CLOCK IS COMING. ARE YOUR KIDS READY?
The backpacks are coming out.
The school supplies are being organized.
Bedtimes are getting earlier.
And whether they’re ready to admit it or not…
SCHOOL IS BACK!
For the past few weeks at Keiko, we’ve been talking about one simple idea:
DO THE REPS.
Show up. Practice. Do the little things consistently. Learn to focus, persevere, make mistakes and keep going.
Because confidence doesn’t magically appear when we need it.
Confidence is built through preparation.
The kata they practiced over and over.
The technique they couldn’t get right… until they did.
The belt they had to work for.
The class they wanted to skip… but showed up for anyway.
Those weren’t just karate reps.
They were life reps.
And now it’s time to use them.
This school year will bring great days, difficult days, new friendships, challenging assignments, mistakes and plenty of opportunities to grow.
Our kids don’t need to be perfect.
They just need to:
SHOW UP.
FOCUS.
WORK HARD.
ASK QUESTIONS.
BE KIND.
MAKE MISTAKES.
LEARN.
TRY AGAIN.
And when something feels too hard?
DO ANOTHER REP.
One of the most important lessons we can teach our kids is:
“You don’t have to be good at it yet. You just have to keep going.”
So let’s get those backpacks ready, reset those sleep schedules and start September with excitement, confidence and positivity.
The preparation is done.
The reps are in.
NOW IT’S GAME TIME.
Let’s make this their BEST YEAR EVER!
